Présentation: L’engagement européen et international s’inscrit dans le projet d’« éducation intégrale » de l’Université Catholique de Lille. Nous souhaitons offrir à l’ensemble de nos étudiants la possibilité de vivre une expérience d’ouverture interculturelle, que ce soit sur le campus, grâce à la présence de nombreux étudiants ou enseignants-chercheurs internationaux ou via un séjour d’études ou un stage à l’étranger. Cette expérience internationale est obligatoire pour une grande partie de nos cursus. L'Université Catholique de Lille compte 541 universités partenaires à travers le monde, dont 440 dans le cadre d’Erasmus. Chaque année près de 6000 étudiants partent à l’étranger dans le cadre de leur formation, et un nombre équivalent d’étudiants internationaux sont accueillis sur le campus. La DRI, Direction des Relations Internationales gère ces accords de coopération et accompagne les étudiants dans leur projet de mobilité avec les établissements, notamment pour l’obtention de bourses.

: Founded in 1875, the Université Catholique de Lille is a multidisciplinary institution with 5 faculties, 20 schools, institutes, and Grandes Écoles, and a hospital group. Internationalisation is integral to the university, and constitutes a fundamental element of the comprehensive education that it offers students, reflecting its openness to cultural diversity and commitment to European citizenship. Course and program offerings in English have increased notably in the past five years thanks to a policy of recruiting bilingual French and international teacher-researchers. The university currently has 541 partner universities worldwide. It welcomed about 6000 international students last year in all field of studies, whether for a regular term program or a short study abroad experience. Created in 2001, the LILLE (“Learn In Lille, Live Europe”) European Summer Program (ESP) is a four-week academic course that offers international students an opportunity to experience French culture at the heart of Europe and to be part of an international, multicultural student community.
